Hi, can anybody give me a definitive answer on whether I need to have seatbelts in my car for the MOT. its a 68 Dart, when I bought it, it had a current MOT but no seat belts, its been of the road for a few years for various reasons but now its about ready for an MOT and I'm not convinced ill get aw...

Mate, took front and back out of my 68 Dart myself and reinstalled using the original rubbers. Didn't have any problems leaving both refits part fitted over night.
Maybe others with far more experience would disagree, I may have been lucky.

Dave, forgot to ask, when you did the MAD electrical ammeter bypass did you fuse the alternator feed to the starter relay ?

From barrel to bulkhead, at some time somebody has cut the insulation and then taped it over?? Can anybody tell me what the wire gauge is for the live (red) to the ignition barrel please, as mine could do with replacing. All the electrics are standard as far as I can tell.
