The block is now back from the machine shop, http://www.rolandalsop.com/ along with a balanced rotating assy. I emailed 440 Source about the balance I paid for before shipping, their tolerance is 2.5g, mine is now 0.2g ! I can't recommend Alsops enough and agree with Dave, balance over here, at leas...

Thanks for the loan of the Torque plates Jim, I enjoyed the chat. Bit disappointed, unpacked my pistons at the machine shop, no sign of any work to balance them, and a discrepancy of 1.7g over the ones tested, the rods show no signs of any rework either, so I will be paying to have it all done again...
