I started writing on boxes a while back, to save keep opening them looking for stuff I'd bought years ago.
A good lot of the stuff I bought for the Dart 10 years ago , was much cheaper £ to $ .
I bought alloy big valve heads, a carb and a 4 barrel, 2 cam shaft kits( wasn't sure what I wanted), and ...

You know the score I moved the seats that were on the roof of the dart into the back of the escort van, got rid of all the boxes that I was keeping for no reason.
Re tidying up stuff I want to keep. Re stacked every thing .

I cleared off the top. No rodent damage luckily.
There's still some stuff underneath yet.

That's it done , the stainless cap bolts arrived yesterday, so there in , loc tighted and torqued up.
Now I've just got the remove 8 years of piled up , and stuffed underneath the Dodge Dart detritus.
That's in the picture behind the gearbox.
I've got a few other car jobs to attend to first though 🙄

Its is well made , I don't know if it will vibrate or not.
It was made by a guy on this forum, but I can't remember his name, I think he made quite a few.
I'm sure someone on here will know who it was.

Looks like that's it for today. I need some cap head bolts for the sump.

This filter extension was made up by someone on this forum, I bought it about 10 years ago, I can't remember his name .

I've just put the compressor on to do just that.
Fingers crossed it works .

I'll try for some more gearbox time this weekend

Bananarama! knows why I put it in the rear servo pot of parts.
I just didn't remember where it came from.
It was the sniff test , and it not smelling of auto trans , that made me think I'd used it on the strip down.
More thinking 🤔 and I worked it out.

Mystery bolt identification solved.
It was the bolt I used with the slide hammer to remove the oil pump front cover in the bell housing.
It suddenly came to me. Old age issue.
The clue was it didn't smell of auto trans oil.

I've got the correct pin and blanking allen grub screw.
I'll have another good look tomorrow

I've got both band adjustment screws, I guess I'll find out later as I get further through putting it back together.
