I like this car, but something is wrong with that stripe. I'm not usually a rivet counter but check this pic for correct application http://www.barrett-jackson.com/Archive/Event/Item/1974-PLYMOUTH-ROAD-RUNNER-COUPE-45354 Yes, quite right. The previous owner applied the stripe. When the car arrived ...

My 74 Plymouth thread
Well, i'd better start a thread on here, as parts are arriving, so it'll be in the workshop soon for a refresh. Was supposed to be this week, but my mate is having a new lift installed, and it went a bit pear shaped. No bad thing, as theres still some crucial bits i'm waiting for. Anyway, here are a...

Been reading about importing, and theres some conflicting info out there. Simple question.. Buy car in California or therabouts for $10,000 dollars. What would be a realistic ball park figure, all in, to have it transported, registered and legal, sat on the drive in the UK? I know this may vary a li...

Thats an amazing Super Bird! Must have cost mega bucks. Hope you use it. Look forward to seeing it in the flesh some day. Noticed someone said about doing the school run in it. Lol I used to take my daughter to school in my old bandit Trans Am when she was small. She loved it. She's been a muscle ca...

Don't get used to it. Opec countries had a crisis meeting the other week and discussed cutting supply to keep demand up. At this particular moment in time they haven't done anything about it, but you can bet that if it drops too far, Opec will just turn off the taps. Our taxing system is the problem...

The problem is that manifold vacuum is so high it just sucks full advance straight away and then ticks over very lumpy when running from that carb base port. Stick your thumb over it and it really tries to suck your skin off! Lol With it plugged, i get a nice even 800 rpm idle. I'll have another fid...

Its running on its idle circuit ok, as when you wind the screw in, it dies. The vacuum is being taken off the base of the carb. there is another port further up the carb which has been blocked off, i'll try it from there. The carb is a normal aftermarket Holley 750. Its running on a Weiand stealth c...
