Checked pump, arm and all the cams I have. Considered upgrading to the 50cc pump, 35 seemed big on a 383 for what I've read. I checked the phasing tonight and it was spot on. I reconnected the vacuum to the dissy and the phasing advances a little. She didn't seem to pop through the carb though snapp...

Dual plane weiland intake. I think the flow is fine, I got an intake o take the 1/8 fuel pressure gauge I had but it's not working. I need to pick a new one to be sure, Engine get plenty warm, I've done near everything I can think of timing wise. I'm going to drill the old cap tonight and see if I n...

Easiest way is the kill power to the coil. Could switch power directly from a suitable size switch or use a SPDT relay and diode wired to latch with a micro push button switch.

I'm going to try get this car running right once and for all

Hi All, Been a long time since I have been online, took a notion to do a masters last year and didn't realise it would take over my life so I haven't done anything with the car really. Anyways its nearly summer break and I want to get the most out of the car over the summer. When I bought the car it...

Cheers guys, haven't been at the car in ages. Gonna order a few bits for her this week.

I need to go at the timing and carb again too😫 Try to finally put it to bed.
Anyone got a decent carb going cheap that I could swap out to eliminate the carb

Coincidently I have the opposite issue at present AF goes lean when snapping throttle open. Fine when progressively open, I got pump cams couple weeks ago but haven't had time to tinker.

Hook up vacuum and see if blue is on the right track, I'd say he onto a winner there.

73 vs 74 roadrunner boot floor.

Anyone familiar with these, I'm gonna bite the bullet and order the new fuel tank. From what I read, the 74 has a bulge in the tank and corresponding bulge in the boot floor. I've seen images of the 74 tank and my floor doesn't have a bulge that I can see. Can anyone confirm or have an image of the ...
