Autometer bits

Hi all,
I have got a set of 3 gauge brackets (2 1/16") part 2230.
Also a sport comp fuel gauge, 3514.

£5 for the brackets £40 for the gauge. I'll post them for that too.
I believe the gauge is the compatible with GM sender type 🙄

Re: New Years Day events?

I'll be at Brooklands too in the superbee.

For a free one there is a huge meet at the phoenix in the a30 by hook too. Cars lining the road for almost a mile but it's got more "modern" in recent years.

Re: Charger fuel cell replacement

If you want a bigger cell, it's easy enough to order in from summit racing etc.
I have a 16gal tank in mine (440ci). Look to fill up after every 100 ish miles and still have plenty in there.

Re: DIY Torque strap

That's not a bad shout. I've got to replace the stainless bolt anyway with a high tensile version so could have a look at beefing it up further. Or use some of the 6mm bar I made the base out of.

Amazing how well it works. Just got to find and sort the knocking noise out that sounds worryingly ...

DIY Torque strap

Hi,
Just wanted to share a torque strap I have made for my 440 Superbee.
Mcgill Motorsport M12 x 130mm turnbuckle kit
Classic mini tie bar poly bushes and washers
Brackets made from some odd offcuts lying about.

Owes me about £40 in parts and a few hours to make it. Pretty happy with how it's ...

Re: Pictures of your ride !

Thanks Pete.
It's all going through the insurance as a glass claim. They have the glass and got new rubber, clips and Chrome.
Parts I'm not worried about it's the ability to install said parts!

She's been in the country for years. Ice owned it for about 15 years now.
Yes was orange when I got it, painted black and I've done a few bits of restoration on it since.
