Dunno those wheels and without a picture hard to tell
how deep is the seat, how wide is the hole that follows and how deep is it from bottom of seat to back of wheel.

Re: Engine from Glasgow to Doncaster
two long scaffold or poles fence posts strapped either side
you can walk the engine around
you can use you trolley jack to jack one end of the poles high enough to get them on the sill of the van
you can then jack under the sump
and two of you can shove it in
done this in reverse to get one out ...

In summary yes different all made by different factories to slightly different designs
BUT all meant to mount on the same style and size of stub axle
so it doesn't matter what you get as long as you get a full set and consider the inner hub bearing size and PCD of the Hubs
VF used same as VC VE i ...

Re: Underbonnet heat - Best Anything I missed ?
jelly in aluminium radiator
1) mixed blue and red coolant (mistake)
2) ethanol/fuel contamination of coolant/water mix (head gasket)
same scenario in breakers yard carburettors.... rain fuel and aluminium + a long time= jelly

Re: Underbonnet heat - Best Anything I missed ?
if you start it and let it run at idle wit the radiator cap off do you see movement of coolant once the thermostat opens. or does it all start to pile out over the top of the filler spout? would imply a potential lack of flow in the radiator....

read something somewhere a week or so ago making a point about the size of the passages in certain pumps
looking at the pump from the front there is a cast in bulge to one side that is a pipe into the block
some have a flattened angle to them some are more rounded.
