I recently had some bike parts chromed by ChromeFix in Birmingham. They are a small firm and pretty accommodating - one of the few to rechrome oily 2-stroke silencers. The turn round was weeks rather than months so you might want to check with them. But, as said above, chromers love to polish things...

This looks like the lost Charger of Bexhill. If so its been in the guys front garden for years. Apparently it's rotten, and the motor has gone, and he won't sell. Plenty of people have knocked on his front door to no avail...

A few odd things I remember from getting the engine out of the Charger - Mark the position of the hinges so when you replace the bonnet it will line up properly. The crane had to be at full extension, so there was one person holding the engine and trans, and two people holding onto the crane hoping ...

I have had luck with welding a nut to the broken bolt and easing it back and forth . Plus penetrating oil. I think the heat from the weld helps break the seal.
Otherwise you have to drill it out but that's a pain because you have to keep the drill square to the surface...
