Re: Floyd Brothers 70 Challenger

Looking at the rest of the floor, these thin flaps of metal were on the drivers side, presumably to cover the wiring running the length of the car to the rear. Only tacked in a couple of places and bent over, so they are coming away anyway.

Re: Raising car on 4 axle stands

Pete - if you see this - do you know anyone local-ish that does trolley-jack servicing?
Ours could do with a bit of a freshen-up, as one doesn't lift as far as it should and the other doesn't lower in a controlled manner...

I was wondering if Thunder Road get theirs repaired/serviced ...

Re: Brooklands Tickets

Thanks Derek, I thought you might be interested ;)

There is another option that I noticed on the Brooklands website yesterday. They have a type of membership called Club, which is £210 per year (if you pay by direct debit) but its for 2 named adults plus up to 5 guests of any age.

Those of us who like going to (or used to go to) Brooklands Museum, know that despite it being a near perfect venue for car events, most of the conversations about Brooklands these days are about the ticket prices.
There will always be the argument about whether car owners should pay the full ...
