Re: Propshaft builder recommendations

Bailey Morris have a good reputation and we've used them a couple of times.

Propshaft Services are also widely used and I think they are connected now with Bailey Morris - not sure who owns who though :-k

Re: A few more Brooklands pics

Those ‘birds eye’ pics are really cool.
And I could have also picked the 65 Riv or black 37 Fordor in my top 5.

Thanks, yes its good to get a different angle when the opportunity arises. Shame they weren't going 100+mph like they would have been if we were there 100 years ago

Re: Please read if you have been to American Speedfest before

Most of what Pete said goes for me too.
The tunnel on the way home is probably the main bug bear.
Plus the associated tat that the organisers bring along for the public eg Mr Bean's car and people on stilts wearing stars n stripes.
And the racing classes seem to be less 'American' that when it ...

Trade secret ;)

Knowing the problem we have on here, I try and take them all 'landscape' as I find it's only pics taken in portrait that cause a problem :D

A few more Brooklands pics

Bit late, as usual, but here's my contribution :D

As it was for most people in the UK last Sunday, Brooklands was blessed with hot and sunny weather - not the usual case for our end of May show
We usually blame the poor forecast if the numbers seem to be down on previous years but they ...

Re: Please read if you have been to American Speedfest before

Similar reasons here, Derek.

I wouldn't say there's one main reason why we dont go anymore; more a combination of small factors...

Cost - as with everything these days, mainly since covid - the cost has more than doubled. Without checking, I'm sure it used to be free for the driver, if bringing a ...

Re: Mopars at Brooklands 2026

Pete. How long you been coming to this show. It’s Chryslers at Brooklands. Nic pics by the way.

I can't check now as the event has been and gone but I'm sure Brooklands' website listed it as 'Mopar Muscle Day' :-k

But yes, I prefer it being called Chryslers at Brooklands; much easier for Joe ...
