Yeah I used 2x m6 bolts, dropped the down pipe, inserted them from the inside with a bit of gun gum behind the bolt head, nut/washer on the outside of the manifold. The head of the coach bolts hardly protrudes into the manifold at all, can’t see there being much of a restriction if any

Finally got round to this little task, all sorted, used a couple of m6 coach bolts from the inside and a little gun gum just under the head of the bolt, job’s a good’un. Thanks for the tip fella’s!! ;)

Next mod ... just had to get shut of the Cali tail pipes. The new tails are s/steel 3”dia with a 2.25”ID inlet. Had to add a short length of 2.25” pipe to the tails to get them to protrude out far enough from under the car after cutting the droopy bit off. Have used the rear hanger u-bolts to clamp ...

ah, mine had fallen off the winder mechanism but was inside the rear panel lying on top of the sill, you had a look in there??

this is the extract from the manual, the rear track is positioned over the slide in rear slot of glass lower frame and sleeve nuts are inserted into the openings in the inner panel

Craig, I need 1 of those too, just not got round to asking yet. It’s been a couple of months since I refurb’d my rear winder mechanism. The 1 on the RHS of my car is ok, the 1 on the LHS is broken/chewed similar to yours :( Can’t remember what connects to what, I think the ball connects to a socket ...
