Anyone know what diameter the MSD advance bush needs to be to get the advance down to 14 degrees?
It's a pain doing it trial and error. 10mm is giving me 17 degrees. I will try 10.2mm next but if someone has an FBO 14 degree spare they can measure that would be handy.

Re: Shoulder belts
I fitted 3 point harnesses in my 68 Satellite, with the shoulder belts going between the rear seat back and base to a new bracket on the rear axle floor hump. I used the factory mounting brackets for the lap belts. It does impinge on rear seat comfort a bit, but that's just an excuse to avoid passe...

Just going to say this virus thing will all be done and gone before the end of July but not before end of June.
See how close I was in the coming months.

Re: Dave's 1969 Plymouth
The kid should have booked this car in with you Dave you could have took a months wages, the car would have felt transformed to him, gawd knows how he put up with all these faults/irritations He only drove it 10 miles in a year and it scared the Bananarama! out of him. :D Well being stuck in the ho...

Re: Shoulder belts
its a constant bug bear that belts often come with the bits on the belt the wrong way round, . The instructions clearly show the inertia reel installed the other way around so it was correct for the intended way but that is with the supplied floor brackets that bolt through the floor to a supplied ...

Re: Shoulder belts
Nice. Exactly what I need to do (but likewise, with the Dave-drop-links - almost feels like a group buy). Why are there huge-brown-furry-clown-slippers in the rear footwell ? That is the 5-foot stuffed Roadrunners feet that came with the car. :D This is not a bad belt system for $215. Much cheaper ...

Re: Shoulder belts
Yesterday I installed one of the seat belts Drew got for me. Like everything these days it was not quite as straight forward as the instructions that came with it suggested. It came with a lot of hardware for cars that never had seat belt provision at all and the instructions reflect that. However w...

Re: Dave's 1969 Plymouth
Dave, is the cable broken or is it that it doesn't hold in place, the clip on mine was broken so it kept falling out of the back of the speedo, I ordered a new cable and while I was waiting for it to get here I cable tied the old one to the steering column to hold it in place, it's still like it no...

Re: Dave's 1969 Plymouth
Not sure if Speedy cables can supply a cable with the plastic speedo end, worth an ask. The transmission end would be the hand tighten style though, not that it's a problem. The hand tighten ends tend to be a smaller diameter. I found a correct one the right length and everything on ebay but with s...
