Re: RIP Jason Wood

Very sad news Blue, the worst thing about getting older is losing close friends and loved ones. Condolences to you and to Jason’s family.

Re: Goodwood revival 2022 photos

Drove a Hemi Superbird to Goodwood one year to put on display. Early one morning across the South Downs, sun shining it doesn’t get any better than that

Re: 1971 Hemi Road Runner

Hi Rob Thanks for posting. It’s amazing that the the car has remained largely untouched over the last thirty plus years. We ran the car for a year or so before selling it to John Pitt who is sadly no longer with us. John sold the car after running it for a while and I then lost track of it. Surprisi...

Re: 1971 Hemi Road Runner

First things first we needed a 440 engine so a few phone calls were made and it turned out that Tony at Marshall Dickson Performance in Kent had a disassembled standard bore 440 short motor which we bought for £325 (those were the days). I already had some good cylinder heads and a cast iron six pac...

Yes the black Road Runner was featured in a couple of magazines in the early nineties (well remembered) one article was a group test at Santa Pod ...

Re: 1971 Hemi Road Runner

While the car was at Pete’s it attracted quite a lot of interest and I remember Tim Fenell, Pete Webb and Stuart Valance among others coming to see the car, this was the late eighties and Hemi cars were few and far between in the UK. We decided the first thing to do was get the car running and asses...

Re: Opinions wanted on sixpack challenger

Obviously the car needs to be seen as there are a lot of factors to think about. I guess it would depend on what somebody would want to do with the car as at the moment it’s essentially a project. It’s possible to simply build the engine and re assemble the car as a usable car or restore it back to ...

Re: Canada Trip

All BS Cudas in 1970 came with the gills as standard (M25) except for the AARs. The reproduction gills are not very good quality so Mauro spent a small fortune tracking down some good originals.
