I think its because the rear wheels are too wide, at least it looks like it in the first two pics? And due to the square wheel arches they have no choice but to raise the arse end, probably wouldn't look so bad on a Charger having round arches, but do agree with you, the wheels look better inside the arches as in the third pic.

Rob, yes, I painted the rear weights, fronts to follow. Mike fitted my front pair and as an ex tyre fitted he felt that the wheels would better balnce with outside weights.


Carl, bang on. The rear wheel wells dictate the stance for me.

what hub caps you got ? my wheels are from wheel vintiques , the caps on mine were / are really really tight & had to fabricate a custom hub cap popper offer to get them off , :shock:

Steve, I bought some old original plymouth division ones.
Are yours the wheel vintiques hub caps. Maybe they are just a better fit.
