Coronet ( the Gold one)

Post by Steve Chapman »

Blue, Maroon, now Gold. My third Coronet. Gone 66, 65 back to 66, with daliences with a 57 GMC panel ( don't ask!) and a 49 Plymouth Coupe ( too slow ) inbetween. Thought I'd missed the boat to get back to 60s B bods. Chargers, Challengers are out of my reach. So too are Roadrunners, GTXs. Prices for 66\67 Coronets are climbing now.

Managed to locate this after scanning the tinternet before the Plymouth went, usual sites eBay, Craiglist, Oldride etc. Currently sat in NY waiting for the next boat out of there.

1966 Coronet
Mild 383 with usual, cam, intake ,4 barrel, headers electric ign.
727 with reverse kit
Suregrip with " highway" gears
Disc conversion.
Boy racer stripe will be going.
This will be a keeper for me, just glad to be back in the game!.

57 GMC panel, you said don't ask but I will!
Not recommended?? I only ask as Mandie wants a 55-57 Chevy pick up and I'm guessing there are similarities?

No nothing wrong in general Matt, just the bag of Bananarama! I ended up with. Will PM you the sorry tale.
Appreciate the comments, won't be driving this for a few weeks yet though.
