Yep, 2 Ladder bar "Historic" cars in the final would have been a bit of a showing up. Just as well Mr.Billadeau did not let the side down.

Great fun, not just down to big money cars and fun for all the family - most importantly, a great bunch of people.

Quite addictive too....

If you could be so kind as to stick up some of the outline rules / "guidelines" of this fledgling class and also how to enter, it would really help those who do not understand its background.

Also any historic stuff from way back when would go down really well too!

Cheers

Pete

Thanks for your efforts Pete Walron, really enjoyed watching the Superstock class and thanks to Pete Wiseman for explaining the rules. Reckon you won over some new fans last weekend!

Well it's come on a bit since we had eight cars in 2012.Next year wil be our fith year at Dragstalgia ,and hopefully it will be just as big as last year but you can never tell what the future holds .Its nice to see it flourish but it's not a new concept ,the guys at York have been at it for years .Plans are being hatched for two classes to be run together ,but again at the moment it's just gum flapping ....not sure what else to say about it really except get of your arses and join in .Somewhere along the line we have forgot what these things were built for and without drag racing and nascar they properly would not exist .

. .Not sure what you mean by pro stocker Duncan........Do you mean old school or tube chassis style .....the tube chassis style is a no ....back halved is a no ,but if the car is in the spirit of the class it's in ...But to be fair Duncan I have seen this class evolving by way of who has raced to date .It seems that it will go 10 inch tire on stock suspension .also the big strokers seem to be out of favour ...I guess it's money that dictates it ,the Williams Brothers for instance both running Tilburg moters ,they ain,t cheep but both by today's standards small blocks ..".So I would say to anyone wanting to get involved ,any good solid yank with reliable running gear will do the job ....It always makes me laugh when Brian Huxley rocks up in his beat up small block Falcon and he puts the big guns on the trailer ......now he is a racer
