Turbos on Mopars

Post by Steve Chapman »

Anyone any thoughts, done it, whatever.
I know how they work etc, just wondering, as seems to be the way things are going.
Not heard of or seen any road going or track Mopars over here.
Loads on YouTube in the States

This seems to be the rage over here at the moment. "Barra the World".....

Ford Falcon turbo motor 321bhp standard, plenty on Ebay. 560 were produced by Ford Performance Vehicles with 436hp in a Falcon XR6 Sprint https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BA-FORD-FAL ... SwYc5Z-pWB
They are being stuck in everything.
Here's one in a VE Valiant;

the 80's Bristol came with a Turbo 360CuIn V8

it is a single turbo with the turbo mounted on top of the RH exhaust manifold and the left hand connected to the right hand with a 'U' pipe running under the engine connecting both manifolds. it draws through the carburettor and the pressurised air fuel mix goes back into the manifold under the carburettor.
