depends how it broke or got lost. if the car was MOTed and taxed and you have a pile of bits of glass to hand.......

my insurance covered mine for an aussie charger..... made on the isle of Sheppy (pilkington) all for my £50 excess.

i had to make them a paper tracing of my screen rubber with some measurements to indicate curve (easy straight edge at the pillars base and measure to the screen mounting) to use to ID the Buck for shapeing the glass

mine just decided becasue it was a sunny day it would crack from roof to scuttle....

US supplier + a shipment by Ron Fenton but ask him if he'll ship glass first. some won't becasue of the insurance

well once its all back togther again, does it become an MOT failure?
if so see if you can leverage your insurance.

afterall no lies have been told when we say an accident has befallen the screen making it no longer suitable for the job it is intended to do.
