Patina paint ?
Just wondered how many mopars are in the club that have weathered / patina / ratted looking paint jobs. And have any one got any pictures they could post. Iam thinking of just leaving mine as is as I think it looks cool. What do you lot think ?
Yes.............decided I'm not painting the Dart for a very long time.........I'll post pics in a bit!
Mines part patina, part crap repaint years ago and part my work.........its unique and I've grown to love it. I've not washed it since purchase in 2011. The dust just adds to the character.
Underneath the exterior is where I've been putting my cash. Reliability is more important at this point in time.

Miles will be along shortly with his 73RR.
Dave Longshot has a great looking late 60s Dart with Patina.
Jem has his Bonneville.
Rustys Coronet has character as well.

Multiple pics of patina. Garaged and treated with Gibbs Peoduct. Cleaned twice a year, maybe?

Gibbs brand oil, it's a bit like WD40 but it's water repellant action works for longer. Definatly keeps further degrading at bay on a garaged car, but I very much doubt anything would work 100% on a car left out in the elements. There are UK stockists for Gibbs if you google it.
