Well apart from our late arrival (poor old scott had some problems with his car, which I would have thought pretty much ruined his evening as nearly everyone had left when he eventually got to the bridge), it was a very good night. Met Blue, Adam, Gary, and Jem. Never met Jem before. Reallly nice bloke - thoroughly enjoyed the chat.
Had a trip round in Derek's Charger. I really like that motor. It just seems so all together and above all, reliable. Just smooth, relaxed and never misses a beat. Warm inside, decent stereo sounds, fab
At the end of the night, Steptoe in the mini treated us to a bit of lead foot. A blue old mini, with a 3.0 24v Cossie V6 with TWO Garrett T28's. 400bhp, and capable of 10's at 6psi. He's winding the pressure on both turbo's up to 20 psi soon, and hopes to be in the low 9's. Crazy motor, and extremely rapid. Looked a real handful as he crossed the bridge.
Worth going.
