I haven't done this without a lot of thought.
To be fair to me I tried to catch the pattern in the light for the photos.
Inside the car it looks more like high gloss polished granite if you know what I mean. Very black. The pattern in the carbon weave is like a hollagram in dark water.
A million miles from the "carbon effect" plastic you see in some "sports" cars these days. This stuff "dances" in front of your eyes if you look into it. Makes your eyes go funny.
Ideal for a dash then.
And it is not as if the old "woodgrain" looked like actual wood either did it? It was naff in its own day just as it is naff now.
So it had to be real wood or real carbon or maybe turned or poliished ally.
I have done turned ally before in my aussie Charger.
I don't think wood fits in a car like this.
So that left carbon.

I am going to try and use it in a "tastefull" way. I knew i would be accused of being "bling" or "Max Power" and all that.
But I don't see why the kids and Chavs should be the only ones to make use of what is a 21st century material that actually looks very nice. At least the real stuff like ths looks nice anyway.
