Come to work with me Dave , let me know if asbestos tastes the same.
Been there - inhaled that as a youngster making a bit of dosh on the side in minor demolition.
It was just the white stuff though.
This carbon is a bugger. It is so fine you are not really aware of it. I was working outside too. So well ventilated.
But I have been up all night with a VERY raw and sore throat. Still bloody sore as I write. Couldn't sleep for it. Agony.

Just a tip mate, Crosydolite, Crysotile and Ammosite are ALL as bad as each other. Don't let ANYONE palm you off with that 'brown is worse than blue and blue is worse than white' rubbish. Thats akin to an old wives tale. The fibres from each are more than capable of creating scar tissue in the lungs.
I am one of the worlds worst for using PPE at home. I borrowed a bench grinder with wire wheel from latil to clean nuts n bolts. He told me I HAD to wear goggles. Three minutes into using it I had fired three nuts and a bolt out of it, narrowly missing my head each time

Seeing as you are well into the interior now, any predictions on getting the car back on the road? Couple of months?
Really it is the dash that needs finishing so I can start the wiring but as that is going to be tricky to cut the carbon for I did the other interior pieces first as a practice.
I am hoping I will have the car running in two months. But I am finding I am still quite physically limited so progress is slow. end of July for the Nats is looking hit and miss at the moment.
