I will try to make that. :thumbright:

Will the person(s) at the front of the cruise know the way to the show this time?
One of the few things I remember about last year was the long trip past the turn off for Yarm.

Got a tax disc yesterday so after work drove up to see AndyRob so he could check my wheel alignment.

The camber was a little too much on one side. Left it there for now though because to my eye it looked the same each side. I will recheck and adjust it at some point in the future. I must not have had the car as level as I thought.

My toe setting was spot on though. :D Must have been luck because I was just estimating it with a tape measure.

THANKS FOR CHECKING IT FOR ME ANDY.:thumbright:

One big problem I need to sort out is the overdrive which was not switching on at all. I Bananarama! 6000rpm overtaking on the dual carriageway.

70mph was just a fraction over 4000rpm which is SPOT ON with my excel spreadsheet for 3rd gear with my 4.30:1 gears. :thumbright:

With the overdrive working I would have had almost another 20mph at that rpm.

Tried to do an oil change last night and stripped the threads on the sump plug.

No spare and nothing that would fit.

So dropped the suspension, dropped the sump, and made a new threaded insert with a nut welded to a thick washer for a big bolt.

I was on until bloody 10:30pm last night with it.

Looks ugly but it holds oil. :thumbright:

Stockton show tomorrow if the overdrive works. Not had a chance to test it although i am pretty sure I found the problem.
No oil in the OD unit.

I must have drained the oil at some point and forgotton. :wack:

Well I met with Andy and a bunch of other guys as planned but the transmission started leaking badly and burning on the exhaust. The smoke was getting a little embassasing.

So I have called it a day and come home. Looks like I will be gardening today instead.

I am not too dissapointed. I would rather these problems showed up now then on the way to the Nats.

You would have had some if I had got to the show.

I will see if I can fix this leak during the week and get it out for some photos next weekend.
