last one for now, new Green bearings installed and hubs cleaned up, threads chased, except the ones which go the other way as I don't have the right die for them!

so that's all for now, plan is to clean firewall up and fit the last patch panel, inner sills are repaired and need filing down and prepping. Radiator support and cowl are away for blasting, subject to anything more than dust coming back from the blasters they will be patched and spot welded back on.

The frame rails are going to be tacked in place and front end assembled somewhere down the line so I can put the measuring jig back under and make sure they are perfect before fully welding them back in.

Wow, that is a serious amount of metal replacement, superb job. It shows that any Challenger is saveable now, with the parts availability.
Very different from 20 years ago. Keep the pics coming, great build thread.

More progress photos, been so busy with the car that I've not had chance to post!

Engine is now away for rebuild, doors and quarters are on to check alignment before welding everything up. Front and rear chassis are tacked/clamped in place whilst every panel is fitted. Then I'll measure the chassis, hope that everything conforms to the drawing, and then weld everything up.

Most of the rust is gone although I am starting to think it might be easier to find a replacement drivers door than recreate the bottom 4 inches of it!

Looks great, it has always amazed me where the rust is on these cars ,they do have common areas , but one can not assume all is good,until a full inspection is done

It must be a great feeling, bringing something like this back from the dead, firing it up for the first time and driving up the road.

Can't wait to get the engine in and running for the first time although just seeing it sit on wheels and all of the panels fitting would be great!!

The car even has rust up inside the sides of the roof and other strange places where mice have carried insulation to make beds, which has held moisture there!

Once all of the lower car is done unfortunately the roof will probably have to come off to fix this!

It's nice to get some encouragement thank you! Can't take all of the credit tho, my mate kris comes once a week and lends a hand and a brain with the measuring and welding, fortunately as there's endless amounts of both!

How did I miss this thread??? Absolutely fantastic work. I thought I had my work cut out with the Fury but this is a BIG job and you are kicking its ass bigtime!! Great photos as well, great to see your work in detail.....cant wait to see it done!!
