I have gotten some small stuff done, I have been side lined with a pinched nerve in my neck so it has slowed me down a bit, I will eventually end up having surgery to correct the impingement between cervix # 6 ,7 ,but got some steroids shot up in between the discs and it has helped but I STILL have a numb trigger finger.
But these parts look cool

Ok I decided to get one task done that I have been putting off, the 1/4 windows and the regulators ,I have done a few and I ALWAYS hate it, it is a simple task however after 3 years or so since dissambly ,I had to cheat and use the chally to remember how they go and it still is a total PIA.
Anyone that has done these knows they are a real treat

He died back in August of 13 and I inherited the car, it is pretty much my pride and joy
Turns out the car is in the Corvette encyclopedia.

You and my bro could have talked for hours he had 13 vettes,(230 cars total).sublimemike wrote:That's great Drew - an LT 1 with A/c......that makes it maybe 1 of around 240?? When the motor was stroked did the compression go back to where the earlier LT1 motors were at - 11.1? I'm a big fan of that era of Vettes as you can probably tell..
I have to divulge it is a tribute car, he tore it down redid all of of the body, but it was a 350 car with a/c and 4 speed, he then found all the parts to duplicate the LT1, good enough to fool alot of people,3 trophies from the vette clubs , and the Encyclopedia, He and I used to chuckle I am laughing now, pretty funny ,no body knew how to figure it out it was not a true LT1,.
The numbers should be at the end of the vin#(I think) ,significance the LT1 option, but this one does not have that,
As far as the motor he did not go 11:1 , it is 10:1 ,thank fully, cause we dont have the fuel up here, the octane is only 91 and it is border line with my chally at 10.5:1
