..... "RUST NEVER SLEEPS" !!!!
Hi all,
As the days draw darker and shorter and my working week increases along with the festive season, I've decided that rather than leave the slightly bubbling paint at the base of the Challenger rear window, it's probably best to peel back the vinyl and see what I'm facing (leaving it over winter just allows the rust more time to bed-in).
Please could any of you knowledgeable folk enlighten me as to a trim removal tool, or am I just using a couple of flat bladed screwdrivers and a link to the correct trim holder rivet things on eBay would be lovely ( there are so many and mine are likely to be too rusted away to identify - mine is a 1974)
I figure if I can at least remove whatever rust is there and treat it I can then work up to getting it fixed after Xmas.
Any tips (other than lose the vinyl roof) would be welcome.
Hope this finds everyone well
Garp
