Re: Top Gear
I was a huge Evil Knievel fan when I was a lad. I even went to Wembley to watch him jump a few London busses and break a few more bones (again)
Then Eddie came along and was sooooo much better. It helped that he used the right machinery, dirt bikes instead of the heavyweight Harleys (and occasionally Triumphs) that the Yank used.
What a legend. It would take a heart of stone to not be moved by Paddy's tribute. I had to double check to make sure I was still watching Top Gear !!??

That was on telly a few years ago and one of my favourites. The cars are stunning but as you say, the blokes on there are very annoying. My pal Kev visited their garage when he was on holiday and said they are actually nice I'm real life but just appear to play up for the cameras.

Watched a heavily edited video of a guy getting a knackered 68 charger driving again. Might be staged but still entertaining. https://youtube.com/watch/8abCVcJkOb0

Don't think I'll be using him for any work.
However, it turns out he's a bit of a Youtube star and was given a Hellcat Charger by FCA. To which he bolted twin turbos:
