Not been many postings here from me, but i haven't been slacking!
I've been working nights on a motorway project in Droitwich the last few weeks. Its been a bit of a blessing. Get home at 4am ish. Sleep for a few hours, then get down the workshop for about 10am, and work on the Charger. This has been the process for the last three or four weeks. Its really taking it out of me, but i don't know how i'd have got the car done otherwise.
Restoring, cleaning, replacing parts, then re assembling everything has taken a phenomenal amount of time. I can give myself a pat on the back for putting everything in separate little baggies, and labeling them. Mopars have a surprising amount of unique clips and fasteners.
The car still isn't quite finished, lots of little things to do, plus then i've got to start on the engine bay, which now compared to the rest of the car looks very dusty and tired.
Here are some shots of the paint going on..

You can see the stripes on the bonnet in a previous post, but fitting the Rallye stripe kit was a seriously bum clenching moment. It took three of us, with garden sprayers full of soapy water to keep the surface wet. Once they stick, they don't like coming off!

Now that's how a charger should look.
Colour , decals and wheels , are perfect in my opinion.
Well done.

That looks great. You should be really proud of what you have achieved. I'm not a huge fan of bonnet stripes but they really suit your car and I love the side stripe.
Really great work.
