FRIDAY ONLY at the MOPAR NAT'S

I have discussed this issue with Santa Pod Raceway. It looks like it is possible to state on entry that you only want to be there for the day, pay full entry and claim a refund for the difference on the way out.

'Just received confirmation from Santa Pod........
"No problem with the Friday day tickets – it will run as suggested, pay the full weekend and have the difference refunded as they leave but they must be out by 7pm to do this."

Drained the gearbox oil this morning and there was a gear tooth stuck to the magnetic drain plug. Pulled the gearbox and there's two teeth broken off the cluster gear. Third gear feels a bit sharp and it locks up when it reaches the broken teeth. Guess that was the knocking.

Car is loaded & ready for the 200 mile hike. Four of us in the car & a boot full of ale. Leaving here 6am Saturday.

Brought new second hand engine as it came for sale at right price just as I'd sold my 68 ranchero but has Indy sr heads , so only just got tti headers shipped from magnum force :lol:

genuinely excited now! been nearly tripple booked, and cancelled one thing i have done every year for the last 6 years to come!

annoyingly i wont be in the Dodge, will be in probably the smallest and most economical car there, my little Metro GTa!

but still! cant wait!!
