Thanks Miles. It doesn't always do it, and it'll usually clear if I blip the throttle, which makes me wonder if something's sticking in the carb?
I'm worried it's what killed my afr sensor and it might do it again!
I think I set the idle with the vac gauge following Dave Rob's technique, but it was a while ago!

No-one will believe you...
So when I set up the front struts and corrected the trail, etc, the rear lower control arms were slightly too long. They adjusted correctly but with no room for jam nuts on the rod ends- not ideal!
The tubes are different lengths o'course due to my asymmetrical steering set up...
Todays task is to grind out the welds and remove the threaded inserts, then cut the tube down by 1/2".
I'll tack the inserts in but I'll take them to my mate Dan for professional welding, being such a critical part an'all!

Control arms done, I welded them myself in the end due to impatience.
I started on the feeble rear indicators. I tried out 2 different LED bulbs with resistors. These were even more feeble!
I've had competing advice- do the reflector surface in gloss white paint or chrome tape.
I'll try one of each and compare.

I was thinking of LED rear lights for my belvedere, but they didn't seem to work with the rear indicators, have you got it to work?? I have the standard red blinking indicators.
I also found them to be dimmer!
In my alfa I managed to get red LED bulbs for the brake lights which helped quite a bit for brightness...
Some LED bulbs don't like flasher units??
