Long way off yet Chris ,1 week a year makes for sloooow progress
Update time
I arrived last Thursday morning so after unloading the car I went to see the Charger, opened the pygmy door on the side of the garage and...

So first job clear around it and empty the inside which was bags and bags of shredded paper, bedding for the chickens apparently
Friday morning up to my brothers and pick up the welder
Back to the Charger and make a start, first job finish the offside inner wing

A little repair to the underside of the windscreen post

And then one of the more involved jobs

Today being the Sabbath up here it was a slower start to the day with not wanting to make too much noise early on.... then the wind and rain started which muffle's the sound
couple of small tidy ups then moved around to the nearside and finished the inner wing

Now I'm onto the nearside A-post, so more to follow next week

Righto this is how I left the garage on Sunday night that has been the Chargers home for some 16yrs

Reason being my brother hinted Tuesday he might finally have the Charger up at his, I never pushed him further on it.
Then late Friday morning he phoned, he'd arranged for a recovery truck
So mad tidy up, get wheels on and inflated and....
Get the old girl outside

Sure enough the truck arrived, ironically it's a Dyson Hydra!oader a vehicle I built here in the Midlands

Saturday was spent positioning the car, jacking up and removing the rear suspension

so that's it for now, a bit of progress that was in a way more than I expected, I happy with the week.

Well I think the plan is and what I suggested, he does a bit more on his own project which has only just returned to sitting on its wheels since 2011, wiring, brakes etc.cadboy wrote:so what is the plan for her now at new place?
Which will give me time to finish the O/S door and get some overtime in to fund another trip north with the panels I have here, hopefully towards the end of the year.

Re: Lots of Love Needed (A Tall Order)
Hi folks, time for a little update. I borrowed a steering wheel puller from Dave Tildsley (must return that) cheers Dave and stripped the column for a well needed rebuild and freshen up. Parking brake and peddle box were also freshened as well. Recently I've just finished rebuilding the door hinges.
Photo time

Top bearing had a small crack so a replacement was sourced and fitted

Door hinges were in a poor condition

Including the O/s only having half a thingy whatsit
