Q.) Can I use Airchamber outside?

A.) Although Airchamber is designed for indoor use (garage, barn or warehouse) it can be used in carports sheltered from the wind. For use in these locations there are D-rings on the roof line of the Airchamber so that the Airchamber can be attached via guy ropes to the Carport structure. We do advise caution when assessing whether your carport is sufficiently sheltered from side winds which could damage the Airchamber when it is not held down by the weight of a vehicle.

Doesn't anyone do those things that, for the want of a better expression look like large pram hoods (for those of you who remember Silver Crosses).

It anchored to the ground in a U-shape, pivoted about where the centre of the car was and flipped over the car in a large semi circular tent shape.

A friend had one and it was excellent. He unbolted the one end and flipped it up and over, and it all collapsed on the ground, climb in the car and drive away. It was very quick and effective.

This must have been more than ten years ago now that he had it. He used to use normal car covers but they murdered the paint. The pram thing had plenty of air circulation.

Like the idea of Martin's bubble, particularly for sheltered longer term cover and probably best inner environmental protection, but the 'pram hood' looks good for purely outdoor and practicality.

Bruvmopar, whats the going rate for barn storage - one car only? £50/mnth?

The third one looks like it, but my recollection was that it had more 'hoops'.

Dave had too many cars, so he fitted a garage door at the back of his garage and concreted the ground. He could drive through the garage and park the LeMans convertible under the cover and stick the TransAm in the garage. Being behind the house and garage it was protected somewhat from wind, but it worked very well for him.

and its outdoor proof and the XXL is 6.5 x 2.2 x 1.7 M...thats got most cars

carport and cover for my Charger

i built the carport in 2003, it's 8ft wide at the gate and 10ft wide where the Charger lives, 28ft long. got the cover off Brad when i bought the Charger. the 2nd pic was when i was part relaying the driveway
