I saw Jim at the weekend and he told me how to resize pics, tried these for starters
The front and rear close ups are mid '06, the engine bay shot is about April this year and the sunny pic is late summer this year at Billing.

Got me thinking about just how many Challengers are there around and which is the most popular year for ownership.As most of you know I have a 71 which I have had now for a couple of years and am really enjoying it ,ok its never gonna be really fast car as it's only 318 powered but has great 'chuckability' on the road.

So just how many are there in the club and and which year of manufacture is the most prolific.

Just checked the vehicle register, I have details of 95 Challengers, excluding some that I know to have been scrapped or exported.
Year wise will take me a while longer, and we also have 3 "new" Challys in the list.
Will try to give a break down but 71 I would guess is rarest.

Found a load of resto pics, tried 'em on DodgeChallengerMessageboard this afternoon and they came out good, so here goes................

The pics of the car in oxide primer are about a month after we got it back to Carsons workshop, tore it down to a bare shell as much as we could and blasted the hell out of it. We got all the underside, inner wheel arch, engine bay, trunk and interior floor and anything I could throw in front of the sand blaster nozzle without losing my fingers.
The nice couple who ran the local post office behind our yard were'nt at all impressed when we filled their house with silica sand dust
Found tiny amounts of tinworm and a mate of mine who worked at Aston Martin as a panel beater, made me a new filler panel for between the rear screen and trunk lid. The old one was'nt that bad but a new custom panel ain't to be sniffed at eh?
I masked off the motor with silicone and rubber pads and had that blasted as well, came out lovely and took the engine enamel very nicely.
The pic that shows the front wings, decklid and rear valance show how the car looked as we got it. My only real regret is that we did'nt take enough pics, we were so wrspped up in tearing the car apart
After a few months the engine bay and underside of the car was yellow and shiny, the K member and all suspension installed and was trailered back to my home. I even had moved house in the meantime to a semi with an attatched garage, luxury
The pics are a bit out of order but you can see various stages of assembly, motor in, loom and brake lines, cooling system etc.
Interior was easy and did'nt take much work, thats cos it was a pile of Bananarama! that all needs replacing, despite a thorough clean, thanks to those chickens and their toilet habits
The later pics are the car having mioved again, took 6 years tho', this time to a house with a double garage. I was very pleased!
It had been to a friends paint shop in the meantime too and had gotten to be yellow all over, at least it looked like it was shaping up nice then.
The glass is still missing in a couple of pics so the windscreen man must have been on his way. This took us to about '99 to get this far, but I kept patting it and telling it all about moving under its own means and although it seemed to take forever it all panned out nice
