Thanks for the comments guys I'm really pleased with the way the car turned up. I was initially thinking about a '70 Charger but also have a soft spot for a '73 VJ Valiant Charger 770 due to a matching pair of them being in the family at one point in time back in Aus when I was a young lad.

I was then just looking through some books on the Charger history and the first photo I saw was the '66 Lawman Charger. Even though it was a B&W photo I thought the lines on it looked stunning. That was pretty much my mind made up from there.

As to the whole stock/resto mod debate, I couldn't be happier with the way the car looks at the moment so doing anything short of what's required by MoT isn't even a thought

La la lah, mmmmm, lah la la......dont listen to Dave, original and perfect as is mate but thats just my opinion... Leave it as mother mopar intended in one of her finest hours..... Its just a Black Country thing he's got goin on! And if he mentions furry dice!!!!.......
