Ok, so if you're banned (which is wrong) does that mean anyone with a commerical interest in being at the Nats have the right to restrict trade from the competition?
I understand if someone has the exclusive rights to film the action BUT as long as you don't film how can they ban you.
You're supporting your race car, no different in my books to Optima batteries not selling batteries on their top fuel stand, that's one way they support their team
Does the bloke selling ice cream try to get the other ice cream people banned
Will Dave Billadeau ask that Dunc is banned as they both sell parts?
I think the money you spend in sponsorship should be allowed to bear fruit, if every drag team objected to another's sponsors we would be packing up this sport pretty soon.
Come on MMA committee at least ask the Nats guys to stop dictating which sponsors can attend and what can't.
This sounds like a toys out of pram moment and just needs a bit of a gentlemans agreement brought to bear.
Agree not to film for commercial use, then there is no argument

What a crock of Bananarama!.... Kin ridiculous, does my head in, we need to attract more people.... Beautiful girls have always been associated with motorsport, as they attract more people.
I think you were more than reasonable in withdrawing your DVD last year, how much more flexible do you have to be. Healthy competition in business is a great thing.
Well they can stuff there DVD, I'm not buying it
If I make it, your more than welcome to film my car & release it. They don't own my rights as to who can or can not film my car.

Thankyou for your support ,playboy sponser many motor racing events and this is the first time we have ever been banned ,
i am told its a family event so our girls are not welcome!!
all i can say is that our girls were very well covered and added glamour to the event , we met some great people there last year who i must say were friendly and welcoming our girls are disapointed but have to respect there decision as we never set out to upset anyone , we are mopar owners and fans santa pod has been in touch with us and we are sponsering the usc show in august , no mopars though

What a crock of Bananarama!
Family event? What and USC isn't ?
I took my kids and didn't have a problem with it, it not like they had their baps out
Show me a car event that doesn't have girls draped over the cars anyway
Well I for one will miss having them around, they did add a certain cheekiness to the event for sure
I respect your decision, feel free to ask the girls to attend as the Swindon Massive's guests just as everyday spectators.

Bananarama! me I was actually right
In all seriousness this is a very short sighted decision by the organisers.
A motorsport event like this needs glamour and Phil and his beautifully turned out girls provided that by the bucket load. They created a buzz that elevated the event to a higher level, drew crowds where ever they went and conducted themselves with total professionalism.
Are they gonna ban the girl who's with the Mustang flopper crew? No different. Grid girls, brolly girls? Just the same.
Always amazes me that the glamour industry is one of the most honest in the world and ironically the negativity that it faces is far from honest.
What the Bananarama! is wrong with people these days? I'm just lost for words and actually pretty Bananarama! off that the event that we all support and help to make a success can do this to a fellow MMA member, it hurts DaveB as well as Playboy.
Justin and Mark made excellent points and I agree with them entirely.
Rant over.............

Took the words right out of my mouth, Justin. Show me a car event that doesn't have promo girls these days. Oh yes, the American biased ones. The ones hardly anyone goes to any more. No wonder it's a dying trend. If I was the next generation I'd probably go to the shows that attract the young ladies too.
What is the organisers side of the story?
