I'll get some welding done on the floor and frame then get it blasted! Otherwise I might not get much back!!!
Yes it's an elan s3! Well guessed by the tail light I presume? Will add some photos tomorrow,it's just back from a full respray.

I thought our Chally was rusty but those 'repairs; on yours take top prize! Keep the updates and pics coming along - nice to see another one coming back to life... :thumbright:

A little more progress. Got the replacement front and rear sub frames stripped, blasted and ready to put in. Am now waiting on all of the sheet metal arriving from AMD in the next few weeks

The plan is to put the car on the chassis jig (which I will hopefully be borrowing) get everything straight and bolted up, then cut out all of the rotten parts and replace them, bolting them back onto the fixed points. Well that's the theory anyway!!

Engine is now disassembled, looks like it had spun a shell on the bottom of one of the con rods. Had a little look down the cylinders and a measure and decided on a re bore at some point whilst I wait for the sheet metal to arrive.
