No the blue car was ian franklynds, it was a 440+6 white interior car get this sold for circa 16k to the guy on jersey maybe 15 yrs ago that seems a long time ago in yrs but not in memory blimey, a lot of people had this type car before it became fashionable to have one,i should have pulled the trigger at 16k but at the time was massive money, but had i had the spare cash i would have bought the orange car that Don bought but i would never have painted it they are only original once battle scars and all,,,

any more input is ace thanks people, i suspect Dons car is probably living a very pampered life now which is a real crime as it was here in England it was sweet enough to be admired but just beat about enough to use and enjoy

Great to hear the stories of what these cars have been through. It's amazing how they go from fairly ordinary to superstar status

Thing is, I always had my heart set on a racing Superbird, preferably a 43, which is why I sold the vit c one. Yes it was a great car in its original state but I wanted to make some money on it before i started the current project. I think in todays climate it would have made just as much in its original state, but I don't think it would have 8-9 years ago
