I bought one of these and no problems car has sat for few months and still fully charged.

One note of caution.
We have found with the Race Car that the Calcium type batteries work very well when new but if they are not used regularly they go flat and will not charge up again to full capacity no matter how slowly or how long you charge them.

Roydon has taken a couple back under warranty and it is a recognised problem

Ok in daily use, not so great on occasional usage...........this is the main reason I went for the Optima Red Top series.............

This is due the the spiral cell technology used first designed as a leisure battery for boats and camper where they would be run totally flat and then recharged time and time again :thumbright:
