I think I paid $1500.00 back in 88,it was a 5 speed,it worked well for a simple driver,then the trans went out, and it would have costed at the time $1600.00 to replace it, so I sent it to the grave,and the car was just a real pile of, it has rattles, the sunroof flew off one morning, I remember seeing the glistening of the glass in the sunrise blowing up in the rear view mirror,and the breeze inside the car, yea a real winner of a car

aussie Chryslers were exported to SA

in fact south Africa also had a BorgWarner factory making the aussie Transmissions and rear ends

the bodies came from all over

US Aus Mexico/Brazil local

I thought the valiants that you posted above were home brew pickup conversions? Are they the Aussie factory efforts, then?
