there is a restricted section in a lot of Mod contracts called section 6

it's all about war, (Losing), civil disturbance, economic collapse, power outage etc etc

in a nutshell get out of the cities, head for the hills and expect to expire within 3 months.

did you know that large food firms have to submit data to the government of current UK food stocks, as in, what is physically in the UK right now.

it runs at approx 21 days worth of food for the whole of the uk population, it mustn't drop below this.

I would love to go into an old bunker, especially Hitlers one he had built in Poland.

Theres supposed to be a huge one under 5 Ways roundabout in Brum, with a hospital etc.

Good thread. I would love to do some urban exploring when my knee gets bit more flex in it (if ever). The old Powergen building round the corner from me was used in the filming of the recent zombie film 'The Girl With All The Gifts'. Lots of urban myths around the place concerning Cold War spy recruitment, torture etc. Its quite a spooky place and I would love to go inside it.

The kelvedon Hatch one is a great place to visit. St Albans council offices double up as a bunker, large blast doors in some of the corridoors.

Also of the same era are the Royal Observer Corps bunkers that are all over the country. Some are open to view as they shut them all down in the 90s I beleive. There is one in Shefford but it's on private land.

They were able to allow the 3 or so occupants to survive the nuclear blast and monitor it to work out where it hit and then communicate to anyone else who may have survived.
