....well when I went down on Friday, I couldnt believe how busy it was. There were cars and people working everywhere.
Its a lot different to what you see on a saturday Adam. I was well suprised.
R. Runner, have you seen it????? I looked like I had a coat hanger in me gob all the way home. I have never seen it in all one colour with no chips n scratches before. The car just looks amazing. I am over the moon with it. Unless you have had a car done before, you dont have an appreciation of what goes into the car.
Its gRRREEAT

OK gang. Some more progress piccies. You probably won't see much difference in these piccs. They say a picture can tell 1000 words but not in this case, you need to touch the car. As you can see, nearly all the guide coat is gone. This means that after A LOT of rubbing back, the metalwork is getting very very close to being ready for some colour (some may or may not know that colour has no body to it, it's the prep that gives that perfect finish) and so running your hand over the car really tells you whats occurring.
There is still a lot of dust / powder on the car from the rubbing down. I tried to get most of it off, but its everywhere. Even now she looks beautiful. I can't wait for that first mash of the gas.
I stuck another pic on the end of a familiar car. It looked stnning in the sun just sittng there today.

Not into washing and polishing cars every day (although I do jetwash the inside of my Landie now and again).
What sort of wax should you use Dave? Surely not turtle wax polish or similar?
Clivey, I use this stuff to keep the old Cragars in good order …
http://www.qualitycp.com/prestige_polish.php … easy on easy off, non abrasive, it was recommended by the chap i bought the wheels from, Tim at ‘Raceways of Donnington’

Clivey....When's it gonna be painted and are they painting the strips?
I'm still collecting parts.
How you gettin on with interior parts? I'm needing drivers door cap and interior A pillar trims.

Stripe will be painted, car won't be painted yet because I havent got the recipe for the colour to John yet. Ivor has kindly sent it to me and I will be bringing it to JC this weekend.
Don't need interior (yet), just headlining. Door cars and seats / plastics all fine, so I will be leaving well alone. Plus I LOVE my white seats n red piping.
Very pimp-esque
