Nah! Look at that. Perfect!Ivor wrote:A word to the wise mate, when fitting that headliner.
About twenty three helpers would be useful!
OK so it needs a little tweaking......
Actually. I started putting it in and then realised I need to screw the trim down that goes around the bottom of the vinyl top first. A couple of the studs are accessed from the sail panel.
Pity the two end holes have been filled in by someone doing the bodywork. Hope I don't drill the holes out in the wrong place.

Mate I don't have a clue what I am doing.
I only just got the steel trim fitted around the bottom of the vinyl top properly tonight. The bit across the back under the rear window? I had it on for the photos but it was not bolted down yet.
The two bolt holes nearest the quarter side glass have been filled in for some reason. So I have had to drill new holes. I was also short of two fasteners as when I ordered them I counted the holes I could see. So I have been grinding and welding two bolts to fit in the trim at the ends in such a way that they wouldn't turn when I was on the inside of the car putting the nuts on.
I only just finished 20 mins ago.
So now I can see about getting the headliner to fit nice and tight. But not tonight...

Hey Dave, how many headliner bows do you have on your car?
My headliner is very saggy - feel like I'm wearing Gandalf's hat when I drive it
I can't help thinking I'm missing one of the bows, or they haven't been installed properly as there is nothing really holding it up....
Anyone with a Charger know how many it should have? Can't find them on the Factory manual....
