Yes here's the marking out ! I'm making the stripes a slight V-shape to match the panel contours .

Also been marking the bonnet for stripe treatment like the #42 car (artistic licence...). Lots of time spent comparing photos to get the proportions right.

And been mocking up for the spoiler . Again, lots of comparing photos , trying to get the proportions right. I think the final version will be about an inch deeper than the green line here .

Thats the way, card template, then cut in ali. We rolled an edge to stiffen it and its still on there 5 years later. Made some very small braclets from folded ali that we riveted to the spoiler and made tabs with holes that pick up on the sidelight / indicator screws. This held it sufficiently and used all existing fixing points.
Top edge self tapped into the valance aperture where the trim goes, using the trim clip screw holes.

...then find an undulating grassy campsite to drive around to give it that 'lived-in' look!

Got the wooden template then drew it up in CAD

That splitter looks ace. If you knock up another, I’d be very keen to buy one.

HI Mark,
No problem to cut another one now I have the file. Can delete the brake duct holes if required . You'll probably need to trim the top edge to fit your valance .
Let me see how the fitting goes. Polycarbonate, although almost unbreakable, isn't as stiff as I would like. I'll probably have to brace the lower lip backwards onto the rad support in about five positions.

Matt, that spoiler looks ace. I didnt use CAD, I did sharpie and old Amazon boxes!
I look forward to seeing it and comparing spoilers, might be another commission for you.

Six brackets for upper edge are held into the valance using two rivnuts each. Working well

The lower edge is braced back (currently in three places) to the rad support - which unfortunately flexes a surprising amount. Might have to go all the way back to the K-member instead.

Rear screen cut from 4mm polycarbonate . Screwed into the body using 6mm plastic spacer blocks , butyl tape in the join, then PU sealant round the outer edge. Rear trim fitted after much trepidation - fit is fair, but at least I didn't mark the paint.

Door windows test-cut from scrap. Slider also designed and cut at same time. Slider is placed quite a long way back on the pane, but I wanted an unimpeded view of the door mirror.

Car is now at the wrappers next door having the stripes done. Much head scratching before starting.

I'll get it back tomorrow morning, at which point my mate Gary is coming round with his corner scales, and we'll also probably fit the fire extinguisher system. Sticker set arriving that evening. Just leaves Thursday to get it all together !
Trans-Am style MInilite wheels unfortunately not arriving in time, but the ones I have will do nicely. Wanted to fit the vintage-style Goodyear racing tyres, but might have to make do with the Avons that are on it at the moment.
