Rallye dash. Cluster had to come out to replace the voltage regulator with a solid state unit, the original is part of the fuel gauge on these panels. Someone had it all apart before and decided to paint the fascia gloss black which looked 'orrible so I thought I'd have a go at making it look more like it should while it was out. I left the grained section at the top black and masked it off. Sprayed the bottom half with wheel silver then masked that off. Finally sloshed the rest with plastic kote chrome spray. The "chrome" looks more like polished aluminium but I'm happy with the finished result.

Torque boxes look great, same as standard fit on Aussie Chargers.
Dash is superb, great job.

Back in 1968 some bloke on the production line made a particularly lousy job of fitting the o/s inner wing. Fast forward 50 years and some random bloke in a shed far far away thought he'd drill out the spot welds and make a better job of it...

more likely had a crash early in its life and a lousy body shop did that repair 40 yrs on it would be hard to tell

No definatly came out of the factory that way, you can tell by the spot welds and the original paint and undercoat on the underside, it's never been repaired or hit there.
