Picked the headers up from Bob tonight around 7.30 , dropped em off @ the garage & thought I'd try the drivers header for fitment

.................................removed drivers side engine mount bolt , disconnected starter moter cables from bat/solinoid , got the front up on ramps , lifted the motor with a lump of 4x2 on trolley jack , tried headers in, no luck

, wedged another 4x2 under jack , no good

, lifted the front another 3" , still was'nt havin it , sat down for a fag thinking about removing steering centre link

turned steering full lock , offered headers up & they fell in

, lowered motor down , bolted up drivers side mount , got in around 10 pm.
Was a bit worried the ports were gonna need opening up to match the ex ports in the heads , no problems.
Gotta hand it to TTIs , they fit like a glove , no bashing to get em to fit , they clear everything , no mods to gearbox linkage & they finish em off well too , well worth the $$$$$$$$$$
These are the 2 1/8th" step headers into 3 1/2 collectors , they bolt straight up to the flanges on the 3" exhaust , no cutting or welding either.
The Lokar cable has lost it's ratio with the new Dominator , can't adjust with the cable adjuster either , will fabricate a longer kick down lever on box , this should give me a bit more travel on the cable , unless Blues got a longer KD lever.
