Popped up the barn yesterday and fitted the head studs and heads. Also put the rocker covers on just because they are shinny :D

Jon why no intercooler...guess theres no need in a 1/4 mile...answered me own question Doh..

unless you go Co2 sprayer on it that would cool it fast and make HP easy too :thumbright:

Looking good though mate 8-)

Hi Steve, I'm using the water/methanol injection

JON THATS TO STOP DETONATION IN THE ENGINE ( caps lock)

The co2 sprayer on an intercooler will bring the intake charge temperature down while running up the strip and give back some HP

Intercooler and sprayer are an easy additions really almost free Hp

Jon,
Starting to come together nicely :thumbright:

Can I ask where you got your pistons coated

Have you had any other parts coated ?

I contacted Zirtec, about getting headers coated, as want to try to reduce under hood temps as much as possible, but their prices were expensive
• Headers coated in a Perf Colour £1,129 inc VAT
• Headers coated in Black: £686 inc VAT
