Vote here right now, if enough are bothered by it they'll post a yay or nay ;)

I'M DEFINITELY A 'YAY'.......I'm gonna miss them as are loads of us.
This leaves a pretty bad taste in my mouth, I Bananarama! hate people dictating rules to others for pathetic reasons

Don........dead right mate ;)
.....although I have it on good authority that ginges are only one chroma-zone away from the missing link

crikey just come and fetch your large family for the weekend as a weekend off,

What i dont like is why,
the playboy crew were a real credit to the event and surly it was a good thing for the event come on it would give youngsters a reason to come and see OUR show and see that american muscle is the way foreward, its not just B1 Bri that knuckles one of to them, ;)

Did'nt post earlier when asking about the Torino as like Dunc originally eluded to.......I thought this was a Joke!

I'm genuinely shocked!

I too thought that last years event was the best i'd been too. The Playboy team added a real highlight to the Event, and TBH made it feel like a more profesional event. A hugh name not only Sponsering an MMA member but was also helping to promote and push the Event further!

Regards the Video, as as already been said, just agree to not video any racing........Sorted!

Regards, the women. Apart from being stunning i thought they were a credit to your team Phil. Very tastefully dressed and as above added the feel of a premiere racing event!

Regards the Bananarama! about being a family event............ . There is heavy drinking and Profanity can we plese stop that too as the little darlings may be exposed to it! While your at it stop the racing as these monsters only do 2 to the gallon and spew harmful CO2 into the surrounding air! What a load of namby pamby Bananarama!, Bananarama! and Bananarama! crap!

Its an event that i'd have no issue taking my 21 month old too, and she's like a sponge with stuff at the mo.

At the Classic show at the NEC in Nov, i saw more revealing stuff on show regards women, including mini skirts and high line thongs (not that i was looking  ), and more cleavage than you could shake a stick at! These were all girls working for different companies etc. That is a bigger and more family orientated show than the NATS so see no issue, and no PC Bananarama! from the event organisers!

Absolute rubbish IMO on all counts!

Sad news........and i also hate being told what i can and cant see at an event of this nature!

If my above spewing is not obviouse enough......YAY, i want Playboy to attend......Cars and Women go hand in hand!!!!!!

Surely as a club we can let the "top " people know how we feel about this matter ????
Utter BS !!
It's us that promote this event purely by our hard work and money to keep our cars something that the paying public would want to come and see.
Drag racing sponsorship is hard enough any way without such pathetic crap like this coming up !
Tell the yanks to ban cheer leaders from games and see what happens ?
Sorry guys but this has really bananarama 'd me off.
I know how much time , effort and money you race guys put into your cars. Isn't it about time it's recognised ?
Take one of these " decision makers" and let them do all the prep work for the Nats !
Even if its just a low budget Mopar that gets polished within an inch of its life just to look good for the crowds !!!
All they do is take money for our hard work !!!

We need to pull together as a club for this one.
Rant over !

The Nats has nothing to do with the MMA we are invited as guests hence the discount, the decision makers are the Nats committee and nothing to do with the MMA although most of them are members and I know after a load of complaining on here after last years Nats, this years Nats very nearly didn't happen.

Playboy don't sponsor the Mopar Nats
They sponsor a racer.
I'm sure a few girls In skimpy clothes not been there is going to ruin the weekend

Also if DaveB was sponsored by anybody else which didn't involve fit girls would we be having this conversation??
Phil (playboy) hasn't been banned he's just been told he can't bring his big rig like last year

I know playboy doesn't sponser the Nats guys.
Obviously stuff going on I know nothing about.
It seems I've upset the people I was trying to defend.
My apologies.
Just saying my personal views.

I'm not close to anyone that is within the Nats Committee, but did see the complaints regards the other DVD release prior to the official DVD, which in turn hurt sales of the official etc.

Anything above and beyond that would possibly risk the NATS going ahead i'm not aware of and tbh its none of my business.

But in this thread the two points raised are Unofficial DVD issue and Family event vs Playboy?

As i said the first should be an easy fix, but still dont see the family argument?

Stu............:D.....Was in full keyboard bashing mode...Small keys and fat fingers dont mix! :thumbright:

PolaraTim:
No your quite right, i knew that Playboy don't sponser the event and again your right the lack of Playboy women won't stop me coming this year. But as i said in my post i just don't see a downside to them being there. It adds another big name to the list of recognised attendees and will bring in additonal people.....and ££££ for all involved!

We all want the event to grow and get bigger and better every year. The only way to do it is get big business names on the list. Its good to see Hans and the 6-pack boys are attending officially this year and helps add another name to the list....Another plus for this year over last!

If they did a full on strip/sex show on the night then i understand, but i didnt see anything wrong with what was on display or what happend last year!

More of an issue was what was going down the strip (no bikes please or non American/Aussie stuff please)!
