2liter TDI 50+ MPG

can't go wrong

2 billion taxi drivers can't be wrong

keep it serviced, let the turbo cool before switching off and use the oil VW reccomend

you'll get 150,000+ trouble free miles

Dave
Keep an eye on the water pimp, skoda pumps have a habit of seizing and snapping the timing belt, ideally, they should be changed when the timing belt is.

Dear Diary.
Nice slow plod to work at 6.30 am due to fog. The V8 warning road users all the way !
Carry on with large kitchen after plumber and sparks have done the alterations. Items packaged wrong and some damaged. Replacements due........14th October. FFS !!!
Cancel floor tiler and granite work tops. Clients over the moon at the thought of no cooker , sink etc for another 2 weeks.
4.05 pm leave for parents house in Trasit. Reversing off of drive engine makes horrific noise .........
UFO leaves left underside of van...........
Object identified ....Crank pulley .................

Anothe 300 odd quid to spend on my " sensible " van......
Great mpg though !!

Poke ya Bananarama! boring ,soulless ,oil burning ,euro boxes.

No mate.

Work pal of mine bought one after years of hankering but I never got to go in it (He sold it after 12 months for a modern Chally SRT8).

I'd have one tomorrow, but they hold value really well!!!

Some decent 360's on Ebay now and then for around £6-7k.
Sure they had 2 SST's on a few weeks back (one red one blue).
But again £6k seems to be the bottom dollar for one you'd actually buy!!

As I said I'm limeted to about 18' tops Dave , so a dually is far to big.
I like the navigators. Don't know much about them though, reliability etc.

Your correct that the Rams do hold their money. I would go for the earlier 360 magnum powered SS/T. I like them.
Next time I'm up ( or your down !) grab a go in Jacks Rumble Bee. Lovely ! :thumbright:

Yukon/Suburbans are worth a look as well. Picked up a 2000 Yukon XL last November so I had something to drive in the Winter months other than the company Astra. Great to drive and not bad on fuel considering what it is :thumbright:

Yeah spotted them BJ. Yukons I like but seems there are not many over here.
Not keen on Chevy interiors. Always seem a bit dated to me.
