I've spoken to Chairman Shaun and we're gonna get a wreath & a card sent from the MMA for Pete.
It's something I wanted to do anyway but I thought it would be nice for the club to send the wreath & card and pay our respects to Petes family.
Anybody feel's like chipping in please contact either me or Shaun, but the club as a whole will still be represented.
No matter what you decide to do, you don't have to pay to show your respects and honour the memory of a club member.
I've gotta phone the details thru to the florist by Wednesday morning.
Jim, do you reckon we could use that pic?

Let me know where to chip in. Post the paypal address, or whatever means of collecting funds here. Its much easier for members in my opinion.

That's a great thought Ade. As although a lot of us didn't know him personally it's still sad to loose a member.
Nice one mate

Petes family have asked for donations to Cancer Research.
I'm still gonna send a wreath as well anyway cos I think it's a nice gesture.
If you don't mind tho I'll pay for the wreath & a message card from us all & any donations can go straight to the charity......... is that alright?
And as a parting gesture I reckon we could maybe name an award at this years Nats after Pete........... fastest e body?

Sad to hear of Petes passing. It doesn't seem like very long ago at all that we were sorting out a deal on a spare suregrip when his let go. He seemed a real nice down to earth fella. A fastest E-body trophy as a memorial at the Nats sounds like a good idea, Ade.
