lol - I love it how we have to "Justify" our hobby. She goes to the Trafford centre on a Sunday with her mates and comes back with 10 bags full of clothes and tells me its for the kids ( yeh right ) size 8 on a 2 year old ?

to be fair she never says anything about what I spend on my bikes etc and as for the Charger this is the first serious cash I've spent on it in 15yrs
Although maybe I should be considering a divorce as a couple of months back she admitted she's never liked it
but that might be the colour as she don't like yellow cars...

Missed the Nats as I'm up at the folks, but finally made a start on the Charger, it's quite bad in places and is going require a fair bit of work.

May look daunting , but a good afternoons work will soon raise spirits.
Best of luck.

Well done Dave, keep at it matey.
I spotted the padding on the hood latch!!! A modified tennis ball makes a useful anti-whack device.

Stick at it - how is it structurally: around Torsion Bar mounts, Frame, Rockers, etc.....

Not got too far into it yet, not had a good look underneath as yet although I can report that the rear spring mounts took a jack (both rear tyre sidewalls gave up coming out of garage)
Going have to pull the engine/trans out as the firewall/bulkhead is quite bad, front valance is shot but I already knew that, trunk floor is missing o/s and soft n/s but centre seems ok (at moment),
Bottom of C post has holed where it meets rocker panel on n/s though rocker panel seems ok, not checked o/s as yet.
Vinyl roof hides many horrors.
Will post more photos when I get a chance, internet is not great here and that's my dads WiFi as for mobile data...carrier pigeon would be quicker

Keep at it bud.

Dave, have. A very close look at the bulkhead. Especially where the wipers mount as that can be a place where water gathers and rusts through. Some of the yanks see that as a deal breaker area for rust, so I hope it's not too bad for you.
