I was reading on the web about using boiled linseed oil to preserve the patina.

Any opinions on this?

I prefer the white one my self , in blue it looks nice , but how many blue ones do you see compared to the white one with one off paint job? , I would look at it a lot more at a show if I saw it

I think that's old skool.
Gibbs is great. I bare metalled my Belve to paint it, then got let down so it stayed like that for months. I just sprayed it with Gibbs and apart from when it got rained on it stayed shiny steel. Looked ace, in fact it wa like that for my wedding :D

The Bonnster has 100% original paint. Patinated to perfection by mother nature and not even a thimble of bondo anywhere!

My view is that classic car dealers are rubbing their hands, as they no longer have to spend money on bodywork and respray- less spend = more profit :D
